I love to travel. I’ve been to 47 states and hope to see the remaining three someday. One of my favorite things about traveling is going somewhere I’ve never been. Taking in the culture. The food. The people. The sights. That’s one thing I enjoyed most about The Copper Box by Suzanne Bratcher.
I’ve been to Arizona many times. In fact, I lived in Yuma for four years and later in Phoenix for over two years. But I’d never been to Jerome. Until I read Suzanne’s book.
Mysteries are one of my favorite genres, so there’s that. But the thing that really drew me into this book was how Suzanne brought the town of Jerome to life for me. I could wonder at the scenery. Feel the atmosphere. Meet the people.
If you enjoy going on a trip when you read a book, I highly recommend that you join Suzanne by taking a virtual journey to Jerome. You won’t be disappointed!
