Kokopelli’s Song by Suzanne J. Bratcher is a compelling journey as the main character, Amy, comes to terms with her beginnings. She learns to reconnect with her past and embrace the family she was taken from. I won’t say much more about that because I don’t want to give away the story. The true history of the North America’s first inhabitants is rich with the ancient lore of the people.
Ms. Bratcher created a story that grips the reader from the beginning and creates a “can’t put this book down” desire as you turn each page. The author includes discussion questions and activities for each chapter that will connect readers to actual history. I highly recommend this book to those interested in a modern story that connects ancient mysterious history.
