Oh goodness! This is such a good story!!

Okay, so this is a Christian fiction romance with the best rivals to love story. I love Ryan and Katherine’s chemistry, and the references to taming of the shrew, and the messages about faith in grief. 🥰 things I love about this book:

🗳️ The small town mayoral race backdrop— I love a good small town meddling in everyone’s lives romance 🥰
🗳️ The blunt and intense Katherine. I love that she is such a force that no one wants to go up against, but she’s also working on seasoning her words well.
🗳️ The way Ryan thinks. He’s smart, thoughtful, and clever, but not underhanded in the political arena. He’s also struggling with deeper things, but doesn’t let it control his sense of honor.
🗳️ Rivals to friends to more — the way they fostered their relationship over the course of the election and started to trust each other was the BEST.
🗳️ Dual POV— this isn’t as distinct as other books with a chapter by chapter basis, but I love that the books gives us both of the characters’ inner monologue.
🗳️ The faith message, that God is there when things go wrong, even if we don’t always understand.
🗳️ Just their banter 🥰
