She also deftly crafts in intimate and poignant moments that will hit hard those who have read the preceding books–The Girl with Stars in Her Eyes and The Girl with Fire in Her Veins. The hits come earlier too and don’t let up, carrying the reader on a sometimes frantic journey fraught with danger. Along the way new characters and localities add further depth and wonder to an already fascinating and well-crafted story world. For those looking for a satisfying (and spectacular) conclusion to Firebird Series, The Girl with a Dragon’s Heart delivers that and more.
