Superb book!

Candace’s writing has such a way of drawing you into the world of her characters that you become intimate with them from the very beginning. Valley of Shadows flowed smoothly, seamlessly, effortlessly from the first. Everything from Lane Steen’s story that unfolded in book one resurfaced from my memory so easily that as I delved into Earl’s story, I couldn’t even remember from which book I had read it!

Candace has a deep faith in her Lord and it comes through with much clarity. I think that is my favorite thing about her writings, nothing seems faked or cheesy, but rather written out of a heart-felt and personal relationship with the One who guides her writing. I can’t wait for book three!
