Lover of Lake Geneva

Anything written with Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, as a setting is a favorite with me so I grabbed this book right away. I loved Book 1 in the Newport of the West series, Safe Refuge, and book 2 did not disappoint. (Can be a stand-alone book.). There were surprises around every corner, no redundant themes, but reality and depth in characters. I became immersed in their lives. Many interesting points in history, some I did not know. Read in a few days and passed on to a friend. I am a very picky reader and am not afraid to set a book aside, but I am looking forward to book 3 in this series.
