Wow! I was excited when Susan Page Davis asked me if I’d like to read a copy of her soon-to-be-released book, Blue Plate Special. She didn’t ask me to review it, but since I tend to review every book I read and love, I’m doing the same with this one.
If you read Davis’s bio you will read that she worked for a Central Maine paper as a freelancer. It really shows in her knowledge of investigative procedures and in how her main character in this book, Campbell McBride, begins her search for her missing father.
I LOVE procedurals and mysteries so this book was perfect for me. I also like how Davis gives us just enough detail to really flesh out the story but not so much that you can predict how it’s going to end. I certainly recommend this book!
