Fun with Mystery and Romance

I’ve never had a main character that drove me as crazy as Dorey did! She missed all the obvious clues, she made decisions that benefited those around her instead of herself, and did all she could to keep everyone around her, including her cat, safe. I wanted to yell at her multiple times because she felt like such a real person! I wanted to help her figure out what was going on as all of the weird things kept happening around her, she felt like a good friend early on in the book and I highly enjoyed this energetic book! It felt true-to-life right from the start with characters, and a cat, that were so relatable, and I enjoyed helping them (from my couch!) solve the mystery! I was fortunate to receive this book as an ARC, but all opinions are mine. – K. Reed
