This book is tender, funny, and full of surprises! The sequel to Perfectly Arranged, Perfectly Placed, picks up six weeks later with Nicki Mayfield returning to China to finish her work at the orphanage. The setting alone fascinated me, having never been to China. But it was the tender moments between Nicki and little Lei Ming, along with the twists and turns of the plot, that kept me turning pages. I love the promise of more Ben and Nicki! The author’s note provides the “truth behind the story” details.
This is a well-written, quick-paced story that ends happily while beckoning the reader on to the trilogy’s end, Perfectly Matched, to be released in April of 2023. Highly recommend!
