Exciting Romantic Suspense

Cindy Bonds has created a fitting third book in her Tactical Response Team series, this time involving a member of the medical community. Haunted by her past, Dr. Shelby Durning is thrown into a hostage situation as she treats a severely wounded man, where she is introduced to Jeff Powers, a member of the Tactical Response Team. In a case where both the team and the doctor are being targeted, the plot becomes more twisted, and Dr. Durning’s career and the TRT’s existence is at stake. Interesting characters and a plot that keeps you turning pages as you want to see the case resolved and hope for a happy ending to Jeff and Shelby’s romance. In a few places I had difficulty determining who spoke and who performed an action, hence the four-star rating.
