This is the third book in the series and another good read. In this book Campbell and her father have moved to a new home and set up their office in the downstair rooms. The book starts with a new case and we are introduced to new neighbours. One is the owner of a Persian blue cat who is very much master of the house and a one person cat. The story also includes another neighbour worried her daughter is involved with a conman. We also see The police detective Keith back and the budding romance between Campbell and Keith growing. His mother also helps with one part of the investigation. There are a lot of twists and turns and interesting characters.
I love the way Susan weaves a mystery and links different threads. It kept guessing most of the book. This is an excellent addition to the series and again I could see this series as a TV PI Mystery series. If you enjoy Private Detective Mysteries I am sure you will enjoy this series. I am yet to read a Susan Page Davis book I haven’t enjoyed.
