Excellent Story!

No surprise that Susan Page Davis wrote another superb story. I felt like I was in the story, riding toward the enemy and facing death, the Civil War history intertwined in the story and the way she made the characters come to life. Quite often, not with Susan though, I will skip paragraphs due to the wordy descriptions, but there was no skipping in this book. Her various descriptions were anything but wordy and yet complete. Definitely a 5 star rating!
