The ageless battle between good and evil, dark and light fills this exciting, action-packed, dual time fantasy novel. Brett’s meticulous attention to detail, his organizational abilities, and the maps of the world he has created attest to his skill as an author. The main characters are strong but flawed. Two time periods with different characters, yet the battles the Knights of Light fight are similar and a spiritual allegory of overcoming satanic darkness with the light of Christ. The series reminds me of Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings Trilogy. – B. Westcott
