May is often known for its flowers, but spring is also a time when animals have babies, come out of hibernation, and often nibble on gardens. Many authors include animals in their stories. In fact, some of the most beloved classics feature animals as an integral part of the plot.
But whether an animal is the focus of a story, a sidekick, or even a “walk on” character, we want to highlight our fictional furry friends this month.
While it’s not necessary to read a Scrivenings Press book to enter this month’s reader challenge, we have tagged those books that include at least one animal in the story. You can browse through those here: https://scrivenings.link/may22.
