Hey there, y’all! I find writing about my fictional characters much more fun and exciting than writing about myself, but here goes.

First of all, I love Jesus and the Bible and writing stories full of grace and the redemptive power of God’s love that inspire hope, joy, laughter, and that maybe even touch a soul or two to get to know Him better. I couldn’t ask for any more than that from the words I put to paper. Nothing else matters.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, but arrived in Texas in 2005 and dug those roots right in. I do love me some Texas, especially here in beautiful Georgetown, where my husband and I live in our empty next (except for our two fur-babies, Buddy and Lily). We have one daughter, Michaela, who is living and thriving in the Dallas area and is the absolute joy of my life.

I love to write about love and romance and all that fun stuff, with a firm foundation of faith. Clean but sassy, sparkly, and even goose-bumpy romance is a thing, y’all! With God in the middle, and with characters seeking and learning and changing, nothing could be more heartwarming or spine-tingly.

My debut novel, Love’s True Calling, was the 2020 winner of the Scrivenings Press Novel Starts Contest, the 2022 winner of the ACFW Genesis Award for Romance, and a 2022 Maggie finalist. It will be published by Scrivenings Press in June 2023, Love’s True Home in 2024, and Love’s True Measure in 2025.
