Travel. Seeing new places. Meeting new people. Experiencing new cultures and foods. It’s a favorite past time of many–including fictional characters. Think of how many books you’ve read that included some sort of travel. The list of titles is almost innumerable!
Bilbo Baggins went on an adventure in The Hobbit. The entire Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series is based upon travel. Eat, Pray, Love shares a woman’s quest of self-discovery through traveling. Many classics include travel in their plots as well – Around the World in 80 Days, Gulliver’s Travels, and, of course, The Odyssey.
And many of Scrivenings Press’s books involve travel. While it’s not necessary to read a Scrivenings Press book to enter this month’s reader challenge, we have tagged those books that include travel in the story. You can browse through those here: https://scrivenings.link/june22.
