Jessica McCarty

Jessica McCarty lives with her husband Greg in Indiana. They are lifelong Indiana residents and have been married for seven years. Jessica is also stepmother to four amazing children. She works in circulation at her local library, which affords her plenty of resources to pursue her writing goals. She has always loved to read and started writing poetry and short stories as a hobby while in high school.

Jessica’s favorite genre is historical fiction. She is also a lover of fairy tales and romance. So it only made sense that she write a historical fiction of her own, set in the Middle Ages. Her first book, A Desperate Love, was released September 2018. Her desire is to write fiction that not only entertains, but gives people hope. When she is not reading or writing, she can be found enjoying investigative dramas with her husband and enjoying large amounts of coffee.
