Susan Page Davis has written a lot of fiction. A lot. One hundred published works, to be exact. Book #100, Cliffhanger, is set to release February 1, and it’s a must read if you enjoy cozy mysteries.
The story is set in Skirmish Cove, a quaint fictional town on the Maine coast. When the parents of Kate and Jillian are killed, the sisters leave their careers to manage their parents’ historic hotel, the Novel Inn. The three-story inn is unique in that each guest room is named for a famous fictional character with appropriate décor.
Don’t want a wakeup call? No worries. The inn will accommodate your request if you choose the Rip Van Winkle room. Enjoy watching the waves crash against the rocky coast? Pick the Horatio Hornblower room, which features ship’s cabin décor and has a telescope to view boats. Those who enjoy Regency-era furnishings, complete with crocheted doilies, can choose the Elizabeth Bennett room. With twelve customized guest quarters, there’s something for everyone!
The best part is, you can visit Skirmish Cove and enjoy a “stay” in the Novel Inn from the comfort of your favorite reading space, because Susan’s book will transport you there!
To celebrate this great accomplishment — her 100th published book — we’re having a contest. You can receive an adorable stuffed moose from Maine, the home of fictional Skirmish Cove, as well as signed copies of two books from other series written by Susan Page Davis. All you have to do is tell us which room of the Novel Inn you’d choose if you could stay there. You can enter the drawing between now and January 31, 2022: https://scriveningspress.com/100thbook The winner will be announced on our Facebook page February 1 – the release date of Cliffhanger.
