Brent Golembiewski is a U.S. Air Force veteran with 20+ years of service. He started his career as an enlisted troop, working as an Electronic Warfare Technician, and completed it as an officer, never working a day as a Helicopter Evaluator Pilot, flying the mighty UH-1N “Huey”. After retiring from the USAF, he began Valkyrie Air, providing aircraft charter operations for people who find value in time. He met the love of his life in the second-worst place they’d ever been stationed and she’s still on active duty. Together they have two boys (the terrible Ts), an abominable snow beast, and a miniature ThunderCat. The desire to feed the boys’ inventiveness and spark with books that would keep their attention and reflect his family’s Christian morals are what inspired Brent to begin writing imaginative books that are “good clean fun”. His first book, Flat Earth, is part of a trilogy, was self-published and won the Silver Medal in the Young Adult – Action category at the 2021 Readers’ Favorite Awards with a 5-star review. Drawing on his experiences over his military career, Brent also published a self-help book, The Airman Blueprint, chronicling his life in the Air Force, what he learned and what he wished he knew before joining. In his spare time you can find him coaching ice hockey, downhill skiing, designing items on his 3D printer, renovating his house to his wife’s exacting standards or pulling the little G’s behind the boat.
