Author Heather Greer has written a thoughtful 31-day devotional designed to help us reflect on the most important holiday of all time. The book is divided into six sections: The reason (for the season), the setting, the people, the sounds, the gift,and the love, with reflection and journaling pages included. Christmas is an extra busy time for me because our family celebrates December birthdays as well. The author helped me get past the busyness to remember what’s really important. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, our most holy Savior. On a practical note, the book makes an excellent gift. It’s one I’ll also enjoy rereading.
